Being Poor...
So... the other day I was at the store with the kids buying medicine for Bridger. I had two coupons and ten dollars with 3 different medicines to buy. Needless to say... I was REALLY stretching it, hoping not to use my check card account (that had no money in it at all). So of course as we walk through the store Lily asks if she can everything on her eye level. I continually said, "No Lily. Mommy doesn't have much money. I only have enough money for medicine for Bridger." I must have said it like twenty times! So, we get to the register and I'm crossing my fingers I have enough pocket change to cover what I don't have in cash. To my surprise, after using my coupons and buying the "no name brand", I actually I had two dollars left over! I jokingly said, "Yay! I'm rich!" Lily quickly corrected me and told the cashier, "My mom is lying to you. We're not rich. We're actually really poor." I turned bright red and walked out of Smith's as fast as humanly possible.

Yeah- I had to borrow 50 cents from my 7 year old in Sears the other day (embarrassing enough) when she started crying and said, "You don't have any money to pay me back!" **Even though I actually did, I had just left my wallet in the car.** Yikes. I wanted to crawl away...
