As many of you know, we are in the process of having Dan adopt Lily so that we can have her sealed to us. I have explained this to her recently and told her how it will all work and why Daddy needs to adopt her. Although, she is five years old. She has the attention span of a fly and the shortest memory as well. So, I was on the phone with someone the other day and I said, "Yeah! We are very excited about Lily's adoption!" She ran from her bedroom into the kitchen completely overwhelmed and upset (because she's five years old and they also LOVE eavesdropping). I said, "Lily, WHAT in heavens sake is wrong?" She said..."ADOPTION!!! WHAT! YOU'RE GETTIN' RID OF ME!" Oh dear. She can be such a handful...
