Bridger loves to crawl around the house. He recently discovered that he can pull a drawer open and usually there is stuff inside that makes Mommy and Daddy say, "No! No no no Bridger. Not for Bridger." Which in turn, I can only imagine, makes his brain say, "OOoooOOoo... That was fun to see how fast and loud those guys are! Heee heee heee... I must do it again!" So, he does. Well, today he found the "candy drawer". It's low enough for Lily to get to if she wants a peice of candy. It also is within perfect reach for Bridger! So, Bridger dug and dug in there to find himself something tasty. And he found it! A dum dum. So, Dan picked him up. Sat him in the highchair and he enjoyed a dum dum. So did his hair, and his hands and his high chair and his arms and a little in his ears and....

Singing to... a different tune?

So... Today, Lily was jammin' out to her music when "Life Is A Highway" came on. I was kind of singing along in the other room, just making the bed and as I walked into the hall, I noticed her singing as well. I stopped and kind of sneakily listened. And her words go as follows..."Life is a highway. I want to ride it on your lawn. If you're going my way, I want to go it all alone. Ooo yeah. There was a distance between you and I. A misunderstanding once, but now, I hook you in the eye." Hahaha... Do you ever remember thinking you knew exactly what the words were, and even though they made no sense at all, you sang them because you just "knew" those were the words! Hahaha... Dan still does that.

Lily's fashion advice...

So... Today I was getting dressed for the gym. I'm finally feeling a little bit better about my legs and butt so I decide to wear leggings with a big t-shirt. So, I walk into her room and asked how I looked. I wanted to know if it looked dorky or if it looked ok. She said... "Wow mom! You got skinny! " I said, "Thanks! But what do you think of my outfit? Does it look ok? Are my pants to tight?" She said, "Oh no mom! You look great. Except for your shirt. I don't like it." I said, "Oh, well, should I wear a different one?" She said yes. She said, "You need to wear one of those really super tight ones. You know, the ones that have little sleeves and are white? Kinda like my undershirt!" I said, "Well, I can't wear that, it would be immodest." She said, "Ooohhhkaaaayy. But it would look pretty hot."

The Tired Truck...

So, tonight as we were leaving the gym, a huge diesel truck started it's engine as we opened our car doors to get in. I said, "Hurry Lily... close the door so the stink from that truck doesn't get into our car!" Lily says, "It smells like smoke kinda." I said, "Yeah...Kinda. It's just the exhaust." She said, "Oh. I see. Why is the truck so tired?" Hahahahahahahaha.... I just about died laughing! She is so funny. I just love her.

So... here is the first official post on our new and fabulous blog... I'm just trying to figure this thing out! I hope it turns out as cute as all my family members have!!!
